A vital characteristic of our school environment is family and community involvement. We are proud of the thousands of volunteer hours that are gifted to our school each year. We welcome the unique contributions each family is able to share.
On any given school day, parents, grandparents, and various family and community members can be found within our classrooms and moving through the hallways, as they dedicate their free time to our students. There are reading coaches, classroom parents, ALAPTO members, event planning committees, speakers, observers, and even some family members who stop in to have lunch with their child.
There are so many ways to get involved with your Aldo school community. We would love to have you help out in our classrooms and chaperone field trips. Have a fun job or hobby? Maybe you'd like to teach during exploratory week or teach an enrichment class? Handy with tools? We just might have a project around the school that needs your help.
Looking to take on a more involved role? Join one of the ALAPTO committees.
Whatever your desire to get involved might be, please reach out to us. We depend on the involvement of the families at our school. We need help at ALL of our events and activitiesincluding Fall Fest, Art to Remember, Fundraisers, Destination Imagination, After School Enrichment, Legacy Day, and the 8th Grade Celebration.
The first step to become a volunteer at any of the Green Bay Area Public Schools is to complete a required background check. All parents and others volunteering in any capacity or chaperoning field trips needs to complete an updated background check before volunteering each school year.
